About This Course
The Personal Trainer Course will introduce students to the fundamentals of personal training. By the end of the course, participants will have a thorough understanding of the principles of assessment, coaching sessions, physical activity programming, nutrition, health promotion, and other key topics of personal training. In this course, participants will learn the essential skills and concepts needed to deliver safe and effective exercise and lifestyle advice to clients. The course will provide hands-on practice and skill development through simulated exercises, role-play, lectures, in-class discussions, case studies, video clips, and other active learning activities. Students will also develop the knowledge and skills to provide clients with up-to-date, evidence-based advice to help them achieve their individual goals and promote a healthier lifestyle. The course will cover topics such as anatomy & physiology, exercise technique & instruction, nutrition, goal setting and evaluation, professional ethics, legal and safety issues, and the practical application of personal training principles. It is highly recommended that students have a basic understanding of anatomy and physiology before enrolling in the course.
